How about this...when they first came out Iommi pups listed for $249.00 EACH!!!

I think Gibson pickups are crap. All the ones i've tried sound the same.

I my opinion If it says Gibson, its WAY over priced. It dosent matter if it is a pickup, guitar, etc.

The only p/u I have heard that I really like from them is the Burstbucker, but again - over priced.
there guitars are totally over priced IMHO.

I agree that Gibson products are way overpriced. Why waste your money on a Gibson pup when you can get a Duncan for less than half the price, and IMHO, sounds better.

Burstbucker Pro (or V, same thing) = 59

I had a burstbucker in the bridge of my Les Paul DC copy for about a week. I wasn't impressed. Sold it and got a C5 and never looked back.

yeah, Iommi pups are darker and has more bass than the other "stock" pups on the other SGs,which are more trebbly. I play metal and got the chance to try out the Iommi SG , really noticed a great difference to pups on the standard SGs.
