A decent Les Paul Standard for $1700

I can just imagine how neck heavy that would be.
eh I got a Les Paul Trad. Pro II for $1300. This was 4 years ago and I waited for the end of year sale and blah blah blah but yea. Just in general, make a rock solid affordable something.
I get it. Fender is all bolt on so that brings prices down a bit. But at the same time, it's not an extra thousand dollars to do a set neck.
dont forget the binding, the pearl inlays, the figured maple tops....that easily adds up
