On Reverb I found a cheap gibson p90 neck out of an SG Tribute, but it's quick connect. Are these the same pickups that come in the 60's tribute les pauls? Also need to know if they can be soldered to normal pots too.
I don't know if they are the same pickups, but yes, they can be soldered. You just cut the connector off, strip the tiny wires, and translate the colors.
Thanks. From what I can tell in the images it looks like a plain single coil, or maybe it's one of gibsons stacked p90s? Once it arrives in the mail, I post some images. It was a great deal.
