I think its one of the flat top mahogany specials, doesnt have a regular carved top of a les paul.

Yes it's the flat top model. I also have a double cut faded P90 special and it's much thinner than this guitar. Anyone know why that is? Significant weight difference. I would have thought specials were all the same thickness? And this guitar has much more shine to it, like more laquer was put on. All in all it's a really nice peice, fantastic action....
