Gibson V with some 'artwork'

Saw this V on ebay while looking if there were any cheap ones after getting GAS from the P-90 V thread.

If it stays at the price it is now it looks like a good deal for someone who was looking for a V refinishing project.

I say heck with the whole certificate of authenticity because that thing's gross. the way it is now.

wouldnt get it unless ur name is dan.... bet hes spewing he did some ****ty "artwork" on it. i would have. some people have to much money.

Yeah,I don't think the world will miss Dan's masterpiece.
That V needs to be rescued!

It does say "Artwork completed by... The Darkness"

That wouldn't be "THE DARKNESS" as in the Award winning band? By chance, hoping that this guitar might actually be worth something WITH the artwork!

It probably was done by them. The name is "Dan" maybe as in Dan Hawkin from "The Darkness".

So maybe NOT a guitar primed for re-finishing!

I was watching an old 'Antiques Roadshow' the other day. A lady brought in a Lowry doodle on Hotel notepaper - Value £3-5K. The person who worked the desk after her also got one, and binned it! Ouch!
