I think the whole point of this guitar is that they didn't sell enough of the regular Modernes so to make up for the fact that they had all those finished bodies, they added a maple top with that ugly ass paint job, threw in some EMGs and said "**** it. Put Zakk's name on it. People'll buy it."

I really wish Zakk Wylde had chosen a more appropriate company to endorse, so he didn't have to drag Gibson and Epiphone through the mud with those stupid Dean-like pieces of sh1t. Those are the four ugliest Les Pauls Gibson ever made.......and so is this stupid looking Moderne.

I would buy this ugly POS as an investment. Lock it in its case, hide it in the back of your closet, and it will still be butt-fugly in another 50 years. But since nobody bought one back in '13, it'll be worth $350,000.

IMO ZW is the current king of the hill for metal LP players and he's totally missing the boat by sticking to these God-auful 80's bullseye abominations. Yea the original was cool because it was the original - camo, buzzsaw, that SG/V hybrid thing - enough already. ****, at least reissue the bottle cap rebel, at least that one has some mojo going on.
