Go figure have to buy another guitar case .

Well as some of you know, I purchased a new guitar this week. I have a hard case for my Strats thinking that my B.C.Rich Eagle1 would fit looked like it would at the shop. WRONG! when I went back to pick up the guitar I went to put in the case was about half inch to wide at the base. That's the way it goes one thing leads to another. So now I am scouting out cases.

I got mine for my Perfect 10 from ProAudioStar for like $80 brand new. They had bought a bunch and were blowing 'em out. Don't know if they still have stock, but they're worth checking out!

I've been looking for some cases recently as well. I looked on ebay, but the majority of those are cost just as much to ship as the case itself.

Some do cost more to ship than others. I've got one that weighs more than the guitar that came in it. Cost $185 to ship from Dallas to West TN. I can ship a Rhoads in an SKB-style case from here to Australia for that much. UPS/F'edEx tack on the oversized charge, as well.

I've been looking for a Charvel / Jackson case to fit a full-size Strat with a pointy headstock. Ideally I'd like a Charvel chainsaw case as those were original equipment for Model series guitars, but I'll take anything the guitar will fit in. Of course with the pointy it's just slightly too long for a Fender case. :smack:

Cases for Jazzmasters & other offset types are a couple inches longer, they should fit a pointy just fine.

SKB.

SKB are great and not just for the money. I'll never buy a case from any other company unless it's heaps better.

Well I picked up a new case for my B.C. Rich today. She fits like a glove, you would think they made it just for her. Here's a couple of pics of the case.DSCI0498.jpgDSCI0499.jpgDSCI0500.jpgDSCI0497.jpg
