just reiterating how much of a difference a single capacitor replacement can change the manners of an amp.. and i havent even changed out the crappy mesa tubes yet.

Totally agree, dude. One cap can have a gigantic difference. I put a switchable bypass capacitor in the preamp of my Jet City, and it makes a world of difference. It's unbelievable what one tiny component will do.
