Last research before i order mine: ;)

If you own, or have played a Godin Exit 22, could you answer these questions for me?

1. What are the string spacing at the brigde? Thinking of ordering a SD '59 brigde with it, and i need to know if i need a tremspaced one or not.

2. Are the stock pots as bad as people say they are? If so, i'll order a couple of CTS'es with it!

3. How would you describe the tone of the guitar, does it have any "extreme" frequency peaks? As far as i know, it sounds like a deeper strat... am i right?

Just wanted to get these questions answered... i'll order my Godin this week! :)

Re: Godin Exit 22 Owners!

Erland, my friend has one, I've played it a few times, I don't know about the bridge spacing, but I can tell you its a great feeling and sounding guitar, and the humbucker in the bridge can really honk, it sounds good clean and sounds good with full blown distortion. It gets used at our local jam session and covers a few different styles very well!

Re: Godin Exit 22 Owners!

I played a used one not long ago and I really liked the feel and sound of the guitar. It did both clean and distortion really well, the thing I didn't like was that it was very heavy.

Very heavy? Wow, this is getting better and better ;). I love heavy axes!
