Guitar is a Godin LGSP90, (24.75" all mahogany bolt on) with the stock Duncan P90-3 bridge pickup (two ceramic magnets, really loud) and an A5 neck pickup which my friend wound for me... I found the stock ceramic neck Duncan dull sounding and lacking in character... probably was too hot I guess.

All leads are the neck pickup, all rhythms are the neck and bridge in parallel.

Bass is a Patrick Eggle Milan IV, early 90s ash bodied bolt on with some form of humbuckers which I've split and blended towards the neck in this recording...

Just recently got the POD Farm plugin, along with the collectors classics and metal pack for my guitar port, having lots of fun with it. The first clean bit is a guitar amp pro model (Logic Studio's guitar sim) with the volume turned down to clean up... I find GAP to have nicer clean/cleanish tones than line 6 stuff, but the L6 stuff is more useable for higher gain tones IMO. All the distorted tones are POD Farm

Re: Godin LGSP90 + Podfarm Rock test

Thanks for listening.

My friend did a great job on that pickup IMO. He's recently asked me to demo his stuff, though that track is just part of something I've been working on... He's been building guitars and winding pickups for about two years now and wants to be a Luthier full time if he can make it work. I'm more than happy to help a friend, plus it means I get to play new gear, so everyone wins. I've got a tele he made at the moment, clips up sometime next week after Easter.
