Should be gnarly, Distortion with vader pole pieces A8 for the bridge, Invader/Custom hybrid A4 for the neck with one meg pots wired in parallel....can't wait to post a review for you guys!

that would be basically taking an invader an putting a alnico 8, the distortion and invader winds are nearly the same if im not mistaken... interested in the neck tho.

Going to do the drop this weekend, getting hammered at work lately, don't want to put in the work and not get to play my axe right away to hear the goodness....

The bridge pickup is two DD trembucker slug coils with Invader caps stuffed in them and a rough A8 mag. The neck is an Invader bridge/CC slug coil hybrid with Invader caps stuffed in it and a rough cast A4.

The Invader/CC was cool in the bridge with an A8, but I have no idea how it will sound with an A4 in the neck, in parallel. I anxiously await the response.

Picked up the guitar, everything looks great, just need to find some knobs that fit these one meg pots.... going to take the pups for their first ride tomorrow while the mrs. is at work and the little one's at school....

So the wife took off briefly and I ran through some chords with my hovercraft on my doom setting, no pedals just right into the amp....didn't get to crank the volume but I really like what I'm hearing so far, I sent IZZO a quick clip from my phone, Tomorrow I'll get to really open the amp up and try the pickups with my overdrive pedal.... might even do some clean stuff with the alter ego too....
