Gold Blackouts

Gauging interest on selling these. They are basically brand new as the installation was never completed. Funds go to a new amp.

I put them in my hand built guitar but right now could use the cash. I started to install them but never actually got them completely wired in and working, so basically they are new except each one has a light scratch from my screwdriver slipping while I was installing the pickup rings.

Here they are, paid $214 for them

Included will be the two pickups and wiring harness, 9v battery clip. No pots/dials/input jack.

I am open to offers.

Payments accepted are: paypal gift, cash or money order.
I will ship USPS priority

5. Asking people to make offers doesn't lead to too many sales. You'll be far more successful if you figure out how much you want for something and just post the price. This is nothing but a suggestion. You are welcome to sell in any manner you wish.
:fing2: It sure wouldn't hurt!

A GOLD Blackout?

What is so weird about it? I've seen them several times in chrome, so I assumed they came in gold too.

This picture is straight from the AHB-1 product page on this Website:

Yes yes, gold blackouts. Seeing if anyone here is interested before I toss them on ebay. I am going to fund a new amp instead. The guitar I made came out good, but it's more of a wall ornament!

Re: Gold Blackouts

I think he did awhile back or it was mentioned in another thread, for some reason I remember it. "Gold", "Black"out, I get it now. Hur hur. That is a nice looking guitar BTW. Good luck on the sale.

You should make a thread about that guitar! I'm curious about it.

Re: Gold Blackouts

This is the thread on the guitar I built from scratch.

As of now, no pickups wired in, I have to find a lower bridge to lower the action and with the strings closer together so they fit better on the neck. Looks like I got a little sander-happy and made it a little too narrow.

It is playable, but the action is very high!

Anyone at all interested in some blackouts? :p
