Yep. I am still not sure if FMIC has sold the brand and KMC owns them or if KMC will be distributing them. BTW, IIRC, KAMAN sold it's music brands when it sold Hamer to Fender/FMIC. Also as mentioned it looks like this KMC distributes brands and own others. The bought TOCA from KAMAN and a couple others on the listing. It is difficult to tell which is which on that website that they own.

As far as the Hamer resurge, I have a very wait and see attitude about it.. :dunno:

KMC was previously owned by Fender. In 2015, Fender sold it to Jam Music.

That is a pretty bare-bones website. The images are old stock images - a few still show them using Duncan Designed humbuckers.

They are using them, according to Sweetwater.

FWIW-

The absolute best MIC guitar I ever owned was a cherry sunburst Hamer Standard XT with Duncan Designed buckers I picked up at the Sam Ash in White Plains. That thing was built incredibly well and even though it's been 10 or 11 years, I still remember how much a wonderful player it was. Absolutely one of the best playing guitars I have ever owned. Frets were immaculate as was the nut and everything else. And frankly I thought the Alder body/Maple neck combination was much better sounding than typical mystery mahogany import guitars.

So I'd like to see these do well, hopefully they will be of the same caliber as the previous "higher end" imports from China and Korea (not talking "slammer"'s)

Those look like the old photos and Hamer XTs last version had that same Hamer labeled pickup.

ETA: I'll be honest, I would dig one of those Juniors if it was as good as it looks. Put a SD P90-2 in that! Whoo-WEEEE!!!

curious to see how they are too!! Ive always wanted a Standard, but the Real Hamers are going for WAY out of my price range these days.. AND even more frustrating, I want a black one (preferably flame or quilt top) and most are some kind of cherry burst type color.

Might not find that in a Hamer import Standard but Dean has a couple nice looking Trans Black Zs at NAMM in the import line.

Man, that P90 double-cutaway is pretty. If the quality of these is on par with the EchoTone I had, I'm sold.

Yeah, Ive seen some I love, but SURE do prefer the Hamer Standard headstock shape to the Dean V shape!
