what would be a really good bridge humbucker for a baritone guitar? here are the specs:
6-string
27" scale length
Neck-thru construction (maple neck/alder wings)
Ebony fingerboard
T-O-M bridge w/ strings thru the body
Single bridge humbucker
Single Vol pot
I plan to keep it tuned to BEADF#B at all times. this axe is gonna be my ultimate death metal machine :6: ...and mainly just for rhythm chunk 'n grind (no soloing or clean tones) for layering on home recordings.
I'm looking for clarity and tightness, and a really chunky and aggressive vibe.
I'm open to all brands and models, passive or active.
I was thinking of an EMG 81 wired in 18v series, perhaps?
thanks!
