Good choice for a hi output neck pup in HSS

Need to get a good (Duncan) neck pup to match up well with my other two pups in my frankenstein fat strat project. Currently have a DiMarizo Super Distortion in the bridge, a Duncan Hot rails in the middle and a way to wimpy stock fender pup in the neck. Need more output in neck bad! Need neck for primarily my clean tones but am not hung up with a strat vintage sound. Any suggestions?

By the way, the super distortion and hot rails have an incredible sound when played together. Wierd.

try a LiL '59. I had one there once, made a very good neck PU though very touch sensitive. Can be edgy if you raise it up or laid back if you lower it a bit.

I like the Cool Rails a Bit more. It's brighter an snappier than the Lil 59.

+1 Cool Rails. Since they changed the design to a sealed plastic type, you might want to get the same type that your Hotrails is.

Just currious but, does the sealed plastic type really make any significant difference in the tone compared to the older model? BTW, my hot rails are 6 months old.

There's no change in tone going from an old CR to a new one. If you use your trem a lot, you'll appreciate the new construction, as your strings won't get caugt under the cover like on the old CR's.
