looking for a good neck pickup for playing leads. Its going with a Invader in the bridge. Was thinking about a full shred, heard they are great for lead. Also I assume it matches up with the Invader well because Jackson uses this combo in there USA warriors. My guitar and the warriors wood and specs are the same. the only thing i was wondering how the bridge full shred bridge pickup would sond in the neck? or should i just stick with the neck model? any suggestions?

Ya thats what i thought too but just thought i would check. how does the shred compare to the 59? don't need PAF tone, have my les paul for that. any other good lead neck pickups out there?

Both. It's the Super Distortion with the EQ slided more towards the treble side.
Specifically made brighter to fit perfectly in the neck position.

Falbo mentioned something back in the day about using a screamin demon in the neck of RG-type guitars
may be worth checkin out, I mean I know in the bridge they're way too bright, so it makes sense...

I had one of those in a S type Ibby neck spot and it was pretty cool sounding.

+1 Great neck pup for mid-high gain sounds. Clarity is very good. It can handle low tunings also and sustain is very strong with this one.
It sounds great with both Alnico 4 and 5 magnets.

The FS neck should be good. The bridge definitely not, too heavy. Actually the neck FS is very dark already. It is just very "assertive", follows your playing closely, due to the hex polepieces.
A Demon (bridge) in the neck is good for distorted leads and control of same and not as dark as a FS neck.
A 59 can be used to squeeze and pop like mad.
There's also the DD neck (Seymourizer) which is ceramic and will be better if you want to have bass with some definition.
