Good middle pickup

Hey everybody. I have been playing a strat with a pair of 59's in it for a bit now, and I have been looking to add a middle single coil to it. I would prefer it to be noiseless, and high enough output that I could keep it pretty low and still have an even volume level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Good middle pickup

I've had a Lace Sensor Purple in the neck position that sounded awesome in a strat with a Humbucker bridge. Kinda wish I tried it in the middle. I know in the bridge the Lace was fairly chimey so maybe in the middle you'll get some chime with a little more body than in the bridge and mine was very quiet when in came to hum. It was my favorite single coil neck pickup. But I ended up going for an HH Strat.

Well, I'd go for something Parallel Axis Stack, which is high output, but can be brought away from the strings a bit. It has enough highs to still sound Stratty.
