Good Neck Pickups To Go with the JB

Hey Guys, recently i decided to try out duncan pickups again after a stint with dimarzio so i picked up a jb for the bridge of my RG570.
I was wondering what pickups work well in the neck with it besides the typical '59 or Jazz option, FS neck, Screaming Demon Neck?

To be honest i dont use neck pickups much. Currently i have a duncan '59 in my neck position left over from when i had the dimebucker about 8 months or so ago.

Just thought i'd complete a useable set even tho i cant actually play guitar right now (damn CTS :smack: )

Post your thoughts and experiences :)

Try the bridge position of the PAF-a-likes. They work really well to fatten up a super strat's neck slot (especially if its got 24 frets). I have a PGb in my Carvin's neck position and it works wonders in that axe.

+1 to this.

--I got a PEARLYGATES Bridge in the NECK POSITION of my Carvin sc-90, it's got a C-5 in the BRidge, BUT the pgb sounds great...

--I ALSO have a PEARLYGATES bRIDGE pickup in the neck position of my JACKSON jj ScottIan--it's got a JB in the bridge, the combination of the PGb & JB sound good...

Or even the DM PAF Pro. Excellent neck pickup in a guitar like that. Nice and fat with plenty of definition.

I'm thinking Pearly Gates as well.

PG bridge in the neck position. I'm sure you'll wind up using this pickup quite a bit too!

Re: Good Neck Pickups To Go with the JB

A lot of you use bridge pickups in the neck. Can you explain why, as opposed to using the neck pickup of the same kind (assuming it's made)?

An SD comment here would be great. They obviously have reasons for designing neck and bridge pickups.

Full shred neck, jazz, humbucker from hell, air norton. I think the air norton would be a very good match.
