Good Neck SC Sized bucker?

Wondering what SC sized buckers out there sound good and have alnico magnets, no ceramic stuff...

Seymour Duncan or other...

SC sized 'buckers with alnico mags? At a decent price? Good luck bro.

If you aren't hung up on the mag issue, the Cool Rails are fantastic.

Pretty sure the sc sized buckers use ceramics because of the smaller size of the mag needed. Alnicos arent strong enough at that size.

Tough to beat a cool rails in the neck, smooth and fat.

I do like Cool Rails myself! As far as my favorite single coil (I think its some kind of bucker, its noiseless) is a Lace sensor Blue! I love this pickup in the neck position! They could be found used for a good price!!

Yeah, the Lace Blue and Silver are pretty cool. They're not really 'buckers though, they're more like low noise singles.

GOOD luck finding an affordable SC sized bucker that sounds good and has AlNiCo... AlNiCo isn´t strong enough in that size (about a 4th of a normal humbucker mag) to be really worth using, unles you´re looking for Ultra-low output..

The Lil PG in the bridge of one of my strats does sound good with alnico II. Not as hot as it reads, but great sounding nonetheless.
