Good replacement for prs 58/15's

Hi, I just bought a Cu24 30th anniv. and am looking for Duncan pickups to replace the originals. These ones are very good, rounded, balanced and retain clarity under high gain. I lime them but generally prefer duncans in all my guitars. What pickups would suit this guitar? The bridge gives harmonics and sustain, sounds even across the frecuencies, while the neck is fatter but retains clarity, even though the 6th string is a little boomy ( I would like a tighter bottom). And also, this guitar has mixed hardware, can it be ordered like that as a shop floor option?

Your post makes no sense. You have a guitar with great pickups but you want to replace them because you prefer Duncans?!? If you prefer Duncans, you should already have an idea of what to replace them with. But my advice would be "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Actually, I wanted advice on what pickups would you reccomend. I like the kind of sound I'm getting but always felt duncans give more shades, more dimension to the sound. So what I'm looking is an improvement in sound, response, and nuances, in the vein that these 58/15 are.

I don't understand what you mean by "mixed hardware". What kind of music do you want to play with it?

If the 58/15s are anywhere near the tonal quality of 57/08s, then you best be looking at the Custom shop. IMO/IME The duncan production line "paf" style pickups are not in the same league in the qualities you are looking to improve upon. Paul has improved his pickups by leaps and bounds in recent years.

My sentiments exactly. The 58/15's arguably better than the 58/08's. Incredibly clear and touch sensitive. Great PAF's. Not really sure why you would want to change them just for the sake of changing them. Yup.....if you are replacing them and HAVE to have 'Duncan's then you might as well call MJ up and have her build the pickup of your dreams for it because as JeffB said, PRS' s new PAF's are some of the best out tyere...by anyone.

Mixed hardware is when PRS uses both gold and nickel mixed in all the hardware. From tuners, bolts, etc

I have tried many many boutique pickups and had several PRS guitars including a CU24.
Have had the 57/08's but not the 58/15's you have.
One thing to realize it is a 24 fret guitar. The neck pickup position is different which changes tone IMO.
It is its own beast.

If you really like SD, I will tell you what I tell everybody- try a set of Ants.
They do the PAF vibe as well as anything made out there at any price really.
