Good Reverb With and Foot-Switcheable Settings

Good day,

I am going to be in the market for a reverb pedal that lets the user switch between multiple reverb settings such as going back and forth from something fairly dry to something more wet, preferably with being able to change the style of reverb to, such as going from plate to spring.

What are some pedals that do this? I would rather not get two different reverb pedals because that's more tap dancing.

Thanks,
GreatOz

If you can go midi....there are a lot of great pedal that do this.
I have the Duncan Silver Lake and love it.

TC just released the Hall of Fame 2 x4. It’s huge, but sounds great and has three easily accessible presets.

Re: Good Reverb With and Foot-Switcheable Settings

I looked up that TC HOF 2 x4, and it's too big for my board, not much my smaller than the Line 6 Delay Modeler (the big green one) which I have as a temp delay pedal right now. I like that delay, but it's just too big lol

Any ideas for something smaller?

If you're OK with expensive pedals, look into the Strymon Big Sky, Eventide Space, and BOSS RV-500. BOSS also makes a smaller, less expensive RV-200 that offers fewer presets.

Re: Good Reverb With and Foot-Switcheable Settings

I would prefer not spend over $300, but I know with switchable and customizable presets, I'd be hard-pressed to find something that will fit on my board for less than that without getting two inexpensive pedals, which is more tap dancing and will likely not save any actual room.

The Big Sky is outside my price range, even used, but I did think about it. It's little brother, the Blue Sky has two switchable presets; I was considering that one as I really doubt I would need more than two.

I did not know the RV-500 had a little brother though. Do you have a direct link for that product? I could not find anything for an "RV-200" on Google. I know they have a smaller delay pedal, the DD-200, but that's not what I'm looking for.

The BOSS RV-500 could be real contender though; used, they're less than $300.

I haven't seen a RV-200 in the wild, but had heard about it from a local BOSS dealer. It's possible that I misunderstood, or that it hasn't been introduced yet.

I haven't tried a RV-500, but the DD-500 is seriously impressive and I would expect the RV-500 to be similar. They're a bargain at their respective price points.

I could believe the RV-200 has not been introduced yet. But yeah I agree, definitely a bargain.

A friend has the blue sky pedal. It is a great sounding pedal but with only 2 presets available I thought it was overpriced. Maybe the used market on them is better. I haven’t looked at them since I bought my Silver Lake.

I love the Flint, it has 3 base reverbs (60s dual spring reverb, 70s plate reverb, and 80s Digital reverb) with lots of controls (look at manual for under the hood)

-but it also has Tremelo -including the magical Harmonic Tremelo, incredibly powerful under the hood with button combos.

Stereo Out, and external output Tap tempo!

I love the Flint and have determined that I must have one, but it doesn't have presets AFAIK (which the OP appears to be looking for).

You can connect an external favorite switch to get a second “preset” for both reverb and tremolo.
