Got a Laney session 45 reverb broken gain pot

I got the amp and everything is working apart from it needing a pot cleaning because they're a bit scratchy. The gain pot has the pot broke off but there's enough of a nub left to just grab and turn but id prefer to get it fixed. I was gonna try take a pot from my old broken amp but the ones in that are smaller so I'm just wondering is there anything special about the pot or will any one work even if I solder in a smaller one from the old amp and use wires to extend it to reach would that be ok?

Google the schematic so you can find the value of the pot. It's probably board mounted, so sourcing the right one is a good idea. You should probably replace any that make noise.

If you find another of the same value that fits, you could wire it to work.

I can't find anything online about the amp but I took it apart and one of the pots I can see 22k on so I'm assuming I need a 22k pot basically then. I've to try find one.

EDIT on closer inspection it's a 1m pot I need
