Got a new amp yesterday! + PICS

Re: Got a new amp yesterday! + PICS

very very nice. My H&K Studio 84 has a fairly similar vibe/look.

Are those Electro-Harmonix valves in there? Those might be the source of the slightly brite overdrive. Consider some JJ's, as those tamed mine. Pre- 12ax7 two----- out - EL84 two.

I am in the process of buying an 8 watt valve amp made in Italy in the 60's "Farfisa".... and it's a sweet little thing.

Nice! I've read about Brunetti amps on the Gear Page, but I've never played one. I love that the tubes are parallel to the floor and from what I've gathered, they're pretty killer amps and are extremely versatile. Congrats!

Cool! I've never played one of those (btw, I only know them by the name 'Tube 20') but I've owned two of its bigger brothers, the Tube 50 and the Triamp mark 1 combo (the latter one is still in my possession, but up for sale).

I have to admit, I haven't even checked yet! But so far, I like the amp as-is. When I tried EHX 12AX7's in my Triamp, I didn't like them one bit though. I stuck JJ's in there too, at first with a EHX in V1, but that sucked big time too. I will keep your advice in mind though, and I'll check what brand of tubes are in there when I get home from work.
