Well, after not having had any decent guitar purchases for quite a while, here's my latest acquisition:
It's a 1999 Ibanez RG 7421 for those not in the know.
The sustain is absolutely amazing and easily out sustains all my 6 strings and all the 6 strings my friends own.
The pickups are still stock and consequently, the low B string is a little muddy, but overall the V7-7 and V8-7 pickups are better than the ones that come in the RG 7321 fortunately and are quite usable for the time being until I order a set of 7 string Blackouts to go in there.
It's absurdly playable.
The frets have barely any wear for a 10 year old guitar, and action is low and buzz free, and the 16.92 inch (430mm) fretboard radius and jumbo frets make bending and vibrato an absolute pleasure to do.
