Got a new mic, did some clips :)

Hey guys.

I bought a Blue Baby Bottle mic from TO a few weeks ago and recorded some clips at the studio while on a day off:

There's some guitar on the backing tracks, but I tried to cover that up the best I could

Both clips were recorded with my Gibson LP Standard with Seths, which was plugged straight into a small box Marshall 25/50 Silver Jubilee head with a JCM800 4x12 cab (which I now want to buy I was that happy with it :scratchch)

The mic was placed at about 6inches from the speaker cone and no mixing, EQ etc was done post recording.

I did record 1 other track, but the playing on it was quite rubbish, so I just uploaded these 2

I apologise for the bad playing

Nice work! I especially liked the clean tones in the G&R tune... but man, you can't play a Slash song and not have a killer solo!!! You know you want to!!!!

From what I remember the solo for that song isn't too hard, so I might learn it and just track it over the top at some point
