Got a Roland Cube 60 yesterday!!

To make it short: IT ROCKS!

The tones I'm getting out of this thing are amazing. The JC clean is jaw-dropping, the vintage emulations are very very nice (especially the Twin Reverb!) and the distorted modes are WICKED! Except for the Rectifier which is way too scooped and buzzy... I'm having fun with the JMP and 5150 modes.:)

The only bad thing about this amp is that it's so loud that at bedroom volumes it doesn't sound that good, but once you start raising the volume... My god! It sounds huge!

Now I need new pickups...:burnout:

Sorry about the ranting, if there's any, but I'm infatuated with this thing...:laugh2:

hi, i am currently in the market for either a tech 21 trademark 60 or a roland cube 60. I don't think i can afford the tech 21 though so would it be possible for you to send me a few clips of the roland cube in the various modes? the two high gain modes and clean mode especially.

can any of you guys send me some clips please?

If you go on to rolandus.com you can get both audio and video clips. The video of course features Johnny DeMarco who is an awesome player and another demo at NAMM. But there are also some cool audio clips as well.

Thanks. i checked out the roland site. I neve knew the demarco demo existed because it isn't on the uk roland site!!!!!.

One thing though, i think the amp sounded really cool but on those clips i feel it was maybe lacking in the high gain/ metal department. what do you roland cube 60 owners think of the gain models?

The NAMM demo does a pretty good job of demonstrating that even though the demo's are pretty short.
