Got a sweet deal at Guitar Center!

So I was shopping for a cabinet when I saw this Crate Shockwave Head sitting on a Celestion loaded 4x12. Head sounded decent but I sooo noticed the price of the cab. $299.00! I said holy crap and went to check the finances. I called and asked about it the next day and the manager said it was a mismarked item. I said how I really wanted that cab for $300.00 and he said since I played on it and liked it, he would give it up for that price. He even held it for 3 days for me. The real price of the cab is $599.00. Half price baby!!!!:bowdown: BTW it has Celestion Seventy 80's in it and they sound way better than my old Ampeg cab.

Nice, I love when stores mis-mark things. I got a 100 dollar cd/mp3 player for 25 bucks because of that at Best Buy, heh. I sold it to my friend for 35 bucks and lived for a week in Germany with 27 euros

At GC Boston mis-marking was near epidemic for awhile. I used to show up and be able to find at least two things every time that were definetley incorrect. Now and again I used that to my advantage.

There's an old saying...when you hire Chimps you have to anticipate some poo-flinging.
