Got an Eventide Space pedal

Very trippy. Tis nice to hear some glitch-free pitchshifting and smooth modulation effects compared to my Boss GT-10. The reverb itself does tend to overpower the other FX somewhat. The Space works best with clean guitars, and I found myself removing the chorus and delay from the GT-10 as its just not needed when the Space is connected. Now I'm contemplating an Eventide Pitchfactor. I can't afford an Eclipse rack, so these are the next best things.

Re: Got an Eventide Space pedal

I used to have a GTR4000, but spent more time programming it than playing guitar.

The pitch shifting was excellent though. If the Pitch Factor pedal is simplified enough, it may be worth using.

Anymore I just use a G-major. Yes, it was a huge drop in price and loss of intelligent pitch shifting, but I really use the tuner, gate, and EQ more than anything else.

Re: Got an Eventide Space pedal

if you are interested in picking up a used eventide pitchfactor @ $349+tax/shipping, pm me. i've got one @ my store(GC) in great condition.

Re: Got an Eventide Space pedal

Thanks for the offer, but the BS VAT and import duty will kill it. BTW, I did some minor tweaking, and turned the Space into an overdrive pedal :)

I've since made a few more custom presets, a swarm of bees sound , and several flanging/delay type presets. I intend to use an expression pedal to control pitchshifting, via an FV500H. I've read a lot of threads about the PF on the Eventide forum. Apparently, it has some tracking issues. I found a youtube video which showed there are certain algorithms that can't cope with high notes, compared to a POG(?) pedal.
