first thing i've recorded in a few months, and with my new valveking^_^ you can hear it clearly, my playing, recording, and mixing skills have all improved a whole crapload, but the writing is still the same haha:smokin:
it's the last one, just cool D major jam or whatever i labeled it. lemme know what you think
chains:
both guitars are just the mockingbird on the bridge, which is a stock PG, totally dry (no reverb or delay).
right guitar: clean channel with modded ds-1 and mxr classic overdrive. now that i've listened back to it, i think i mixed it too bright with too much distortion, probably shoulda had more of the classic OD's and less of the ds-1's drive.
left guitar: dirt channel with the gain boost on, gain at about 1/4 boosted with the mxr classic OD.
bass was a monster of two cheap deans that i created into a cube 30 on the session setting using it's record out straight into my toneport.
the pickups for that are a stock dean playmate humbucker in the bridge and a jazz QPb in the neck mixed together.
