Aiken makes some amazing low powered amps, I'd definitely check them out. I also recommend (while you're looking at boutique amps) Fargen Amps. I've played quite a bit of boutique stuff myself, and I'm blown away at how good the cleans and overdrive are on my Epic 30 DC (it has the best cleans I've heard thus far and the overdrive is right up there with a Savage Blitz 50 I played a while ago). Ben Fargen has the best customer service around and the prices are very fair for a PTP wired, custom voiced, boutique amp. It's 30w pentode/ 15w triode, so it'll be perfect for your power level.
Bogner makes amazing stuff, but they are insanely loud amps, definitely not bedroom or low volume recording material. The Shiva with EL34s is 80w, so that definitely won't fit the bill. Rivera's Knucklehead series I believe is 55w.
