Nickel, i use nickel strings. They are tall frets a little smaller than medium jumbo.

Is that MIJ? I've noticed very poor quality (quick-wearing) wire on MIJ Fenders; that guitar looks awesome, glad you're benefiting from the refret.

Its an after market HSH routed body with a Vintage Mexi neck from the 90's with the truss adjust at the heel. Im a Gibson Guy but once i got this guitar i understood what a good Stratocaster was about. Ive had other Fender Strats including MIJ & a 62 RI but they were nothing like this one.
Extremely Resonant.
