Looking for Real Life
danelectro BLT slap echo & danelectro fish & chips 7 band EQ

the blt does exactly what it says it does, no more, no less, real 50's/60's analog sound, perfect for rockabilly, or if you turn the repeats & mix up all the way, well, you get repeats that are louder than the origional note, and still kinda trail off in an analog kinda way, which would be cool for indie bands i suppose. Despite getting bad harmony central & other things like that's reviews, any educated player who's looking for this type of effect will appreciate it, it got the guitar player's editor's pick, because it does exactly what it claims to & it's cheap. DO NOT expect digital delay outta this thing, if you do, go listen to some scotty moore & then try it again later

the EQ also does exactly what it claims to, at $30 I'd say its a better value than the boss

I'm not too worried about the casing on either, my effects are either ON for a song or OFF for a song, so my pedals get more gentle taps than they do all out stomps

all in all, a well spent $60

Re: got some pedals today

I've been thinkin I could use an EQ pedal but never wanted to blow that much money just for more tone knobs...if the Dano EQ is as good as you say, I might just have a new pedal soon :D
