Got the Hum Back :)

I've taken my Strat back to stock, with 3 single coils and MAN I can't believe all the tone I was missing. I had a Hotrail in the neck and a JB in the bridge but I've grown out of that I suppose and just wanted it to sound like a Strat again. Anybody else gone back to stock on any of their guitars?

That's why I have two Strats: one with a bridge humbucker and a hot neck pickup, and one with more traditional single coils. They complement each other beautifully.

That said, I've been thinking of putting a mid boost in the 3S Strat to get a bit more versatility out of it. That way I can just turn off the boost when I want a pure vintage Strat sound.
