It's the JF-02 Ultimate Drive.

I've only used it for about 30 minutes, but so far it sounds great!

It works wonders as just a boost, or drop the amp gain down and use the pedals distortion. It has plenty of a very nice, thick, gain on tap, and there is no tone suck, that I can hear.

I'm gonna spend some more time with it and see how I like it then, but so far, it get's a thumbs up from me. Not to shabby for $32.99 shipped.

Good on ya. I don't doubt its a wonderful pedal(much). But its not an OCD. THIS is an OCD;

The genuine OCD is one of the greatestmdern pedals ever made. The Fulltone OCD has Big quality control and premium parts , with a careful circuit layout and all the R & D done by the Mikle Fuller. It sounds as it should. It's pretty reasonable at right around a buck and a quarter.
What I take issue with is you mentioning OCD in the same breath as Joyo. I'm being a little Obsessive and compulsive , sure, but Thats about it really. Knock yourself out with your budget pedal,I'm sure its okay sounding but please insinuate its an OCD or anything very close to it. Call it a ODC, OR a CDO, or something.

I had the OCD version 3 a couple of years ago. This acts just like it. It's thick as hell, plenty of range, and has very little noise. It's pretty much the same thing. But, I'll do you a solid this time Jerry. I'll call it, The Pedal That Sounds Like A Very Expensive Other Pedal. Is that better?

Dude, you need to chill about this stuff. Some people like cheap pedals. And it's not like he said it was an OCD, or tried to claim that it was the original pedal, he called it a clone right in the subject. Why does it offend you so much if someone buys a cheap clone?

Nice, man. I'm just gonna make one at some point soon. Not a lot of components in them, like the Zendrive. If they make a Timmy knockoff, I'd totally pull the trigger on it.

This is the pedal that some US company modded and painted. Then sold it for a good price.

OK, I've had several hours with thing now. I still like it!

I'm using it with my VHT/Fryette Pitbull 50/CL. The Pittbull has several different gain settings you can use, and this pedal likes it any way you dial the amp up. I can turn the amp boost off, flip the switch to low gain, and use the pedal as a distortion. That's a great tone all on it's on. The gain is super thick, just chunky as hell! Couldn't ask for much more.

I can flip the gain switch on the amp to high gain and we start having a little fun. This is when I like to start using the pedal as more of a boost. Turn the pedal gain almost all the way down, or to taste, and find a sweet spot with the output level. This alone can push you into the metal realm, but it works a lot better for the 80's styles.

Now comes the fun. Engage the boost on the Pittbull. It's already a high gain monster, no if, ands, or buts about it. It is what it is. The cool part is, there is still room to grow. In this situation, I like to use the pedal as just a boost.
Turn the gain all the way down and use the level as a means of more gain. And it can add a lot! It pushes you in to modern metal, with ease.

The high low switch is just what it says it is. Flip the switch down to low, and it knocks a little bit of the higher frequencies off. Seems to loose a little bit of gain in the process, but I would imagine that was the whole idea.
The tone control is the same as any other OD. You know what it does.

Overall, it's a great little pedal for the price, and I have owned an OCD, as well as many other high priced OD's. I'm not gonna try to tell you that it's better or is built better than the more expensive alternatives. But for the price, it will do what ever you want it to do. I can't say anything bad about it.

Those white knobs had to go. This is much better.

I use my Hustle Drive (Mooer's clone) in a very similar way. They are incredibly versatile. I can pump up the gain and have chunky distortion, or stack it with other overdrives for searing leads.

Glad you enjoy it, I'm going to recommend my brother buy this pedal.

Re: Got the Joyo, OCD clone, in today.

It was the Freekish Blues Alpha Drive. And it wasn't modified, it was exactly the same, circuit board and all.

Ok I stand corrected. I was under the impression that they changed a few resistors. Didn't they do the same with Joyo ultimate octave?
