I got my Genesis Mr. Browney early last week and soldered it in this last weekend. I have an Ibanez RG1220 and had a Steve's Special Dimarzio in it before. I tell ya....I really like this pickup. It gives my Ibanez some clear punch, and I don't know if it is a dimarzio thing or not, but my guitar seems more focused and present in a good way.
I play through my 6505+ and a friends Mesa Studio setup and it sounded great in both. I am now thinking about switching out my bridge pickup in my other ibanez to a Duncan EVH just to see the difference between the browney and that one? I still have the Air Nortons in the neck position, and probably won't switch them out cuz I like them, and I don't use the neck P-ups too much anyway.
