Sorry for the delay, been out of town for the holiday weekend. :dance:

How does it compare to a Vox AC-30? Had a chance to compare the two?

I had a Vox AC-30 reissue for a while. It was very loud! 30 watts? Sounded like 60 watts!

With a TS-9, I thought it was the best overdriven tone from an amp that I've ever owned...but it was just to loud (and heavy!) for me to use.

Congrats! I'll bet it's a great amp.

The sounds of the Orange and the Vox definately cross paths at some point, from what I remember of playing a Vox about 4 months ago. I'll have to stop over by my buddies house and really spend some time with his AC-30 to give an in-depth comparison.

What cab are you using? An Orange 2-12 or 4-12 would really set that thing off!

Right now, I'm using my Laney 4x12 with V-30's in it. I'll definately be getting an Orange cab in the future.. as anti-rock'n'roll as it sounds, I'm seriously considering a 2x12 for portability's sake :smack: Expect a thread on this very subject soon. :laugh2:

Sounds like a great amp you got there. The twin channel AD30's are s'pposed to be awesome amps.

I'm looking at a Single Channel AD30 head on Ebay at the minute

It should go great with the 70's Orange 4x12 cab I found for cheap

Have you ever played 1 of the single channel AD30's? If so, how does it compare to your twin channel?

can you jumper the 2 channels like you can with an AC30?
