Got to use a H900

Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum, but I got the chance to use an H900 hydraulic elevator control at work today.

Eventide is doing amazing things with elevators these days. Hydraulics have a nice smooth feel that's a bit more natural than going through old chain/pulley/hamster wheel tech. I understand some people don't want to give up their cranks and winches and madly running hamsters, but I feel like hydraulic actuation is going to be more and more widely adopted.

I updated the firmware on my elevator today to ver. 4.5.6[0]. Lots of new features and access to floors I could not access before.

I'm kicking myself for getting the Core version. You think you're getting a great deal up front, but then you have to pay extra just to get to the basement.

Core can be great depending on your use case. I've seen it implemented to great effect in single story ranch styles.

That's the quandary, isn't it? You want something there, but you could put in a staircase for like a third of the cost of one of those Core units... but then you have to take the stairs all the time and you'll need to build more stairs if you ever put in a second level.
