Graphtech Saddles

LesStrat

Reining PunLowered
I ordered a set for LesStrat last week. They came in yesterday. I installed them today. So far, so good.

I got the PS-8000-00. Hopefully, this will resolve some of the intonation issues. The cheap stock saddles were prone to slipping at random times. The height adjustment screws would just slip for no apparent reason. Not often, but when you least expected it.

Besides, I kinda like the look of the black saddles on this axe.

That's the originals.

I ordered on ebay from a company in southern Arkansas called mainstreetmusician. They were very helpful and shipped almost immediately. They also swapped my screwup for the correct item. I read the auction TWICE, and didn't catch the PS-8000-F0. I emailed. They responded. Item swapped at same price. Item shipped. Item received within 5 days.

Kudos to Graphtech AND mmm.

(waitaminute...the MMM were the antagonists in the STYX: Kilroy Was Here show...:smack: )

Re: Graphtech Saddles

I have no doubt you'll love them.

You actually saw Styx on that tour? Man, I was like 13 and I knew it was lame.

Re: Graphtech Saddles

i use em on all my electrics. and the strat saddles no longer cut my hands up.

Re: Graphtech Saddles

I only tried them on a Dean Strat copy, but boy did they work wonders for playability, stability, and string breakage.

Re: Graphtech Saddles

Glad you like them. Hopefully they'll keep it up for the long haul. From everything I hear, they will.

What town is mainstreetmusian in?

Re: Graphtech Saddles

My dinky has had the same Graphtech String Savers since day 1 almost 10 years ago, and I couldn´t imagine that guitar without them :headbang:
