Just wanted to share this with ya'll. I found this while surfing the KVR forums:
Kirk Hunter Studios is having a group buy for their "Pop/Rock Strings". It's a 10 GB sample library of violins, violas, cellos and double basses made for...well...pop/rock productions.
It's normally a $250 product, this group buy has the potential of reaching a 50% discount if 150 people sign up for it. At the time of writing, they've got 120, including myself, meaning a 40% discount. Sign ups end January 15th.
I know there's gotta be some people out there, like me, who really want to add some strings to their music but just can't afford the major libraries. They've got plenty of demos, and it works with the free Kontakt Player from native instruments.
