Does anyone have experience and a rough estimate for the amount the bigger online retailers might normally give/deduct/reduce in price?
Sweetwater, Musicians' Friend, etc? I'll definitely share my experience once I try with some of these larger online stores. Haven't bought a guitar in a while still always looking for the next dream guitar out there! :smack: Always relied upon patience and Ebay, until now.

The amount varies, dude. It depends on what you are buying and when you buy it. If they are blowing them out, it may be low already so you can only take it down a little more. If it's not on sale but not a hot item, you might be able to get over really well. It all depends. There's no set number or even average number. You have to do your homework on the item, know the going rate, know how popular it is or isn't and have a feel for how much of a deal you can get.

I am glad that I saw this thread. I had been thinking a lot where to get a new guitar. My dream guitar perhaps. I would check your suggested sellers. Maybe, I will just get lucky this time.

If you're a financial serial rapist, no better place to buy than eBay. Buyer's paradise. Not so crazy about being a seller on there as the Vaseline only takes you so far.

Rainbow Guitars out of Arizona is beyond sick and you can actually order Gibson Customs from them.

Locally (for me anyway) BeauMonde Guitars is amazing. Lou can get you anything and if you want a more personal touch, call him and then order from the web or their ebay store but he can take orders over the phone and they ship like BEASTS too. Definitely worth checking them out because it is not often that you actually get taken care of by the owner of the store.
