I did this Dean Z on the left up with Stars cause I thought it was a cool guitar treatment. I used 3M Reflective material like on the road signs. :1: :ok:

Thank God for that maple center strip, dual graphite rods, and hs back carve. A lesser hs would have broken 3 or 4 times by now :oops:

I think somethin about a vibrant green axe just makes it a lot more awesome than any other guitar. Anybody else gonna join this clique? We can throw down for some of those Electric Green fullstacks and go on massive blues jam tours...i mean think of the hippie chick groupies!

ah yeah my financial disaster hahahah luckily i came outta that one with all guitars intact! I only see these SG-X's on ebay once every three months or so...would've been a long time before i found a replacement.

Can't believe I missed the thread! Geez. Sorry I keep reposting these, but still waiting to see her back from the shop. And the day she comes back, you better believe there'll be about 500 pictures to document it.

When you look at these, imagine a super black Ebony fretboard, brand new cream binding throughout, massive stainless steel frets, and the sickest (100% real) Mother of Pearl dot inlays (acrylic in the pics). Just imagine that. And then realize how much I can't wait to see my buddy again after three months! :)

They're actually Les Paul bell knobs, and they're the first thing to go once I figure out what to replace them with. This is the only problem I've been having, design wise. I just can't figure out what I want!

Actually, the thing I want most are Gretsch type knobs, without the G on top (this isn't a Gretsch, I don't want to pretend it is - no Gretsch paraphernalia anywhere).

But yeah, they were an inoffensive and cheap stopgap, basically.

hahaha it happens. I think it'd look good with those black Gibson knobs, like the ones on my SG. Basically the same thing but black...but y'know, i could be biased.
