Greenie neck with other bridge HB?

I'm thinking of putting together a Les Paul with a Greenie neck and a somewhat more potent bridge humbucker. Maybe a '78 Model or Brobucker - I'm thinking that should still give me an in-between quacky out of phase tone, as long as the bridge volume was turned down a little to match the lower output Greenie. Does anyone have experience with this to share?

I wouldn't go too hot, but a 78 or Brobucker should be fine for this.
