I have a Guild Bluesbird which, as many of you probably already know, is a Les Paul-style guitar with a chambered body. I have installed Pearly Gates in it, but in the process I broke the ground wire that ran from the bridge into the control cavity. I have removed the nearest bridge post to the cavity (HUGE hassle) and attempted to replace the broken wire, but I can't seem to find the hole for the wire. Is there a way to go about this that I don't know about? One thing that I need to mention is that the buzzing goes away when my hand touches either pickup. I've grounded the hell out of this thing, with wires connecting all pickups to one another, etc. Thanks so much for any advice.
