I have a custom strat i'm making and am stumped at how how i can ground the bridge, its a hardtail string-thru body, so the only metal parts going into the body are the mounting screws and strings themselves, will i have to do any extra drilling.

most times .. you'd run a ground wire from one of the pots to the undrside of the bridge .. and mount the bridge w/ the wire sandwiched between body and underside of bridge.

you may need to drill a hole from control cav. to underneith the bridge.

make sense?

Yeah, just strip a half inch or more of the wire and sandwich it between the body and the bridge before installing the mounting screws. Then you can check for continuity with a Voltmeter before stringing it up.
