Ok I have two pieces of hardware which allow me to connect a ground.
There is a plastic bloc with a screw, and they say its to ground.
The symbol looks like _|_|_|
My questions:
1- How would that protect/affect signals ?
2- Would it be a plus in canceling hums, helping the sheilded 1/4 cables against interferences ?
3- Can I make a custom electrical extension containing only the ground pole and plug in the electrical outlet ?

Boss GT-10 (multi)
Roland Edirol FA-66 (soundcard)
