Grover Locking Rotomatics Vs. Non-Locking Rotomatics

I need new tuners for my PRS and I'm thinking about Grovers. I've used their regular Rotomatics before, but have not had any experience with their locking Roto's. Are the locking ones really more beneficial than the non-locking ones?

They make it quick to change your strings, and they allow you to keep the number of wraps to the bare minimum, which IMO helps with keeping the guitar in tune. That said, they won't help at all if the nut is not well made.

The Grovers are great if you need to replace other Grovers, but I do prefer locking, height adjustable Gotohs on 6-in-line heads. They allow you to equalize the break angles of the strings over the nut, which I think helps a lot on a vibrato-equipped guitar. And they also look pretty much like old-school tuners, which I prefer.

Thanks, ItsaBass. Yes, the nut will eventually have to be replaced, because it's a cheap plastic nut. maybe I should do that first, then worry about the tuners. I'll look into Gotohs, though.
