GT10 Sound Clips

Re: GT10 Sound Clips

Not exactly Yngwie, but who cares man? Good tone is good tone whether is sounds like Yngiwe, or a Super Lead Stack. Even if it wasn't 100 per cent Yngwie, it was 100 per cent good tone, which matters more to me anyway.

Thanks bro! It's the first user patch I created w my GT10. Just wanted to see how closely sounds can be dialed in with it. It's amazing how good those things work.

Re: GT10 Sound Clips

Patch Configuration:

MS1959 I&II amp model very low gain setting
Greenback cab
"Distortion" pedal very low gain setting
Plate reverb 50% depth
EQ B 50, M, 55, T 60

It wasn't recorded direct. I miced up my Koch Twintone with the GT10 through the effects loop and recorded with my recorder. Probably would have sounded better direct but I like to mic stuff LOL!

Once I had it dialed in the feel improved a lot. The POD XT was like playing a solid state amp without the tube sag emulation. The GT10 is like playing a solid state with the tube sag emulation. Not spongy but very warm.

Just got my .mp3 converter software converted it to an .mp3. The .wav files are huge and don't usually work well so this should fix it!
