Hi. i'm planning to buy guitar but i don't know which one ! i am thinking about Gibson SG Deluxe (3X 57 classics) or modified fender with custom 920D pickguard (David Gilmour) or Manson MA-2 EVO-S ( i m planning to buy a custom one with Sustainiac Pro in neck and Coil Tap Conversion) and i play alternative music like radiohead and MUSE and i like clean tones too. What's your idea ? Is Manson MA-2 EVO_S versatile enough ? or it is better to buy gilmour style Strat? or that SG ? and by the way i like the manson most for M1D1 Pad and many tonal option that it has. but i realy care about clean tones and i dont know haw Sustainiac and Manson bridge sound in clean tones they are not any videos in youtube of this guitar and SG is great for its vintage sound and three pickups DG Strat is great too i am realy confused which one you guys suggest ? as i said i play almost everything in alternative and indie music like radiohead Muse RHCP.
Thanks for helping

Welcome to the forum!

I just read about that Manson. Since I don't really have ties to particular brand, I can't imagine that not doing the trick. I love the Sustainiac, too. The Strat and the SG have very particular, cool sounds. But I never considered them super versatile except for what they do very well. So I'd go for the dark horse here, especially if you like playing things that are outside the box.

I saw more videos about Sustainiac Pro and i didn't realy like it ! and i am going to choose Seymour Duncan Dual Coil Cool Rails for neck pick up.
and of course i m going to use MOJO Switch for it too.what is your idea? is this good pickup for neck ?

Re: Guitar Buying Guide

The Cool Rails is a wonderful pickup! Especially if you like a lot of processing after the fact (I do, in many cases). The Cool Rails just seems to work with lots of delay and reverb.
