Guitar finds its way home

Re: Guitar finds its way home

I'm always happy to see folks get "the one that got away" back. The one listed in my signature line is the one that got away for me. It wasn't my first guitar, but it was my first Les Paul, and I really bonded with that guitar.

I thought this was going to be about Robb Flynn finding the Dimebolt that Dimebage gave him and was stolen a few years ago.

Great story though.

I'm torn. Any quitter who takes his guitar to the dump....a gift from his parents, doesn't deserve to get it back. He seems like a dweeb, reading his story.

Getting rid of my Star Wars collection at a garage sale for pennies on the dollar was one of my big mistakes.

This is OT, but I sold my Star Wars collection to a collector for a premium the week before that AWFUL movie with Jar Jar came out in theaters!

Now back on topic, I've gotten rid of stuff I wish I had kept. We all have, I'm sure.
Nice to hear this particular owner got redemption. I like it.

Some days ago I was just thinking to the Hamer I gave to the shop to partially fund my first strat.. I wish I could know where it is now.. I was so young and so naive.. Sigh..
