Guitar Heaven Going out of business

Some really good deals going here. Every few days they send out a new newsletter with things that they have marked down, but you can call them and they will help you out with anything specific that you are interested in.

(If it is inappropriate to post something like this here, go ahead and delete. I just thought I would share with fellow forum dweller.)

Is there a link on their site that shows the marked down items? Everything seems to be regularly priced. Even their sale prices are basically MAP pricing. Am I missing something?

Thats probably why they're going out of business.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

They have the best prices you can find online for Tom Anderson pups.

They still have some great deals on Rio Grandes. And some of the Dimarzio's are marked down too. Didn't check on the Duncans.

Many things still at full price... they say to call them.

I picked up some Rio Grandes for about 30% less than I have seen before.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

They've been a mainstay in the Nashville area for a while now. Suprised to see this.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

Yeah, they have some great prices. My last 2 sets of pups were ordered from them. They are super fast and very helpful. I'm sad to see them go.

The RIO sale prices are def good, unfortunately they have already sold out of what I would have bought and I'm strapped for cash cos I just picked up a new guitar.

DiMarzio prices are good too...

Just email them...I'm sure they'll cut a deal.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

I might email them for the fun of it, but seriously the Dimarzios don't seem marked down with maybe an exception for a Breed or Blaze neck model for $49.99 and even that just seems like a typical sale price from other places.

The Rio's are good prices from what they normally are, but I'm a cheap bastard and would normally not pay their going rate as their lower prices are way more than I would pay.

Heck a Dimarzio X2N-7 for $89.99? I bought mine over a year and a half ago (maybe 2 years now?) and I spent $69.99... That said I always get a deal before I buy gear.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

I called yesterday and picked up a pair of Cool Rails at close to used price.

DiMarzio had a price increase the past 2 years. Their MAP on most pickups is $69.99 now. Some are higher. If you saw something for $49.99 NEW..thats a steal these days.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

I drive by there almost everyday when I'm working. I'm gonna have to go in and check things out I reckon.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

No not $49.99 but less than $59 for a Super Distortion and Tone Zone. I think the last Dimarzio new pickups I bought were from Banjo Mikez on Ebay and they were a Super III and Super II both for the above price. I bought a set of D'Activators last year for around $52 or $56 a piece from Sigler Music.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

When do these guys open up? I've been calling since 9am. Did they close their shop for good already? If you let it ring long enough you get a message asking for a security code. Is the number on their website the correct #?

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

The deal for the Duncan pickups are something like:
40% OFF for one,
or 50% OFF for any mix of 2 or more!
The discount is calculated from the Retail price.

(Antiquity pickups are 40% OFF for any quantity.)

You can order online at the web site, and they will adjust the pricing before charging your credit card.
Or, call them to place your order.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

So the discount is just for Duncans? I have 2 Tom Anderson tele neck pickups in my cart and they show up as full price even after I entered my credit card info. Thank God it didn't enter my order once I hit submit to get the total. So much for liquidation pricing...

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

Just tried it with 2 Full Shred Trembuckers. Shows up at $79.99 each right after confirm page. I'm not about to hit submit as that is the last stage before the order is complete. Doesn't look like any discount or am I missing something?

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

They said something about charging the discount to your card. Just mention it in the message space provided. What I'm trying to find out is if the sale is off of the List (which is way high) or the sale price. Cause if its off the list price, thats not much of a deal.

Re: Guitar Heaven Going out of business

They don't open til noon EST.

Call! It took me 6 minutes to get a deal done.

Matt
